so, i have a 2009 Crossfire SnoPro 800 with a bad chassis and solid engine, a 440 Firecat SnoPro chassis with a crappy 600 engine, and i was thinking about getting a 144 skid extension and track for the firecat, and heres what i was thinking: will it work, would i have to order a pipe so the crossfire engine would work in the firecat chassis, would i have to get the secondary and primary clutches of the crossfire engine re-did, but the 144 and the 141 tracks are pretty close, would the drivers for the 128 track work with the 144 track, and would the 600 pipe work with the 800 engine if i got the 800 ecu remapped? any thoughts and critique? are there any problems i may have over looked?

My advice is to find another Crossfire chassis instead of spending the time and money on a Frankenstein sled. Sell the race sled to raise the funds.

I say do it. Its possible. Motor mounts will be different but you have all the goodies (electronics ect) to make the motor run like it wants. We just put a 04 f7 motor in a 06 m7

If you ride much offtrail, the narrow track of the firecat will disappoint you. It's a big loss coming from a crossfire.

For that reason alone, despite the fact that the 440 (600 mod) uses different mounts & it will be a pain in the butt, I'd just sell the F-cat & find a roller Crossfire. They've got to be out there.
