Hey guys. Im putting jaws twins on my 2005 m7 and heard I don't need to use a control box with the 2005s. Is this true? Thanks

I wouldn't do it without a box, the pipes will change it's fuel needs at pretty much all rpms. It isn't worth a burn down imo.

yes you can...i did on my 05...there is a grey wire by the cdi you have to unplug. i never had a problem

Thanks guys. Found a boondocker box to use. Anyone have any numbers for the box just to have a starting point? I ride at about 8000 ft. Thanks

Is that the oxygenated fuel plug? It is suppose to richen it up a few percent, isn't it? How did it run just doing that compared to the stock pipe and can?, I doubt it would be finely tuned very well that way.

Ill try it without the box first and just unplug that wire. What exactly is that wire for?

That is the ethonol wire. If you run fuel that has ethonol in it (most fuel does these days) you should unplug that wire. It richens the fuel mixture to compensate for the pis poor fuel.
