I ride a 07 Dragon 700. I had both clutches redone over the summer. Everything seemed to run great, then toward the end of the day on the way back to the truck the RPMs would drop at about 7800, down to 6200 - 6500, with no let up on the throttle. I would then let off the throttle, then throttle back up and it would be fine until i got to 7800 -8000 then drop again. Any ideas what this may be?? Thanks.

In addition to the above suggestions, what does the voltmeter on your gauge show when it's running good and when it starts to dogg on you??

Possible stator????

I know you said you went through the clutches but I had the same thing last year on my 700. It was the secondary spring that was junk. Replaced it and worked good since.
