Guys,

First trip out on the m8 proclimb. No miles on the sled. MDS weights with black Polaris primary. Sled would only pull 7000 rpm. Most of the time in high 6's. Doesn't seem like secondary is holding enough spring pressure. Anyone ran into this issue before? Thanks for the advice.

more info needed

you need to post what weight the MDS's are, what the polaris spring
rate is, and what spring or information on the driven clutch is before
anyone can even begin to help you out.
You may also want to post what elevation your tuning for.
I am unfamiliar with the polaris springs . RickM

Sorry. A little information goes a long way!

MDS weights set up at 77.6 grams. Black Polaris is 100/340 I believe.

I was running around 11500' today.

I am going back to stock weights (67) and yellow cat spring just to make sure it's weights and not secondary giving me issues. I will get a hold of Steve this week if i am able to pull the r's on the stock clutching.

cat weights / spring

as you mentioned going back to a 67 cat weight and the yellow spring,
at 11K elevation you should hit 8K RPM and hold. Make sure your weights
are not too tight when they pivot due to the " O " ring real tight.
I like the weight to pivot with some drag but not tight. Also use
blue locktite on nut. give it a try.

way to much weight for that elevation,65s is the sweet spot with stock clutching.
