Bcil) Most folks I talk to seem to feel I want to be at clicker #4
Joe) Is this your intention?
What is the clicker that you intend to run?
I submit that, clicker position is merely "policy"; that this clicker position has had better results than another position at a certain time and that number now is adopted as always true.
It's the argument of "blonds are better" in disguise. And Blonds aren't better. Brunette's are better.
So Joe sneaks over to Bcil's sled and notices clicker 6. Joe looks around and see's nobody's there. Joe pops the primary off and switches ramps, taking the 441's out and putting a set of 413's in and closes the clutch back up, left clicker on 6 and sits back to watch what Bcil notices now as he's running up the hill then stops, shuts off and yells "Now the dang thing is overevving by 200~300"
Joe yells..."GO TO CLICKER 4...IT'S BETTER!"
----- Wow was that a indirect way to a path!!
will he take it?
I Run this housing on my sled to ,but Dave Trygstad has a water manifold that works way better only see 2 and rarely 3 bar's .Lol not pushing Daves stuff just helping a fello Doo guy.CR Racing also has one that uses a cat thermostat. My buddy runs on his that works about the same as Engine -techs.CheersDidn't read all replys fully but this IS a solution for a lot of "Lost RPM problems".

We put it on a friends MY13 Etec 800 and it worked miracles on it. Clutches even ran cooler when the Engine started to behave itself.
I am getting one this summer for mine!
Edit: Both our sleds are XP based MY13 Lynx Boondocker 800s, but i guess the XM has the same cooling system as the XP had.

if that's you on the rock taking the picture I see your rpm issue...its the same as mine...
HAHA... nah, I'm not far from that, but I'm driving!
interesting .. I was looking for something like this for my sled .. will give it a try next season
you'll hurt fuel economy and emissions by running cooler .. but those are least of my concerns !
