My '14 XM is idleing high 3300 rpm which causes a bog when you first start it. Dealer changed TPS and thought it fixed the problem, but didn't. I lossened the throttle cable and still idles high. Any thought on what might be causing this. Thanks

Mine started doing the same thing this morning. Yesterdays ride it was fine, idling about 1150ish, then this morning it was idling at 2600 then eventually it dropped down to 1150ish again, but took quite awhile. Did this for the few hours i rode it. Just seems weird how it happened overnight.

Possible reeds??? Being new I would not think so but might not hurt to check.

Sent from somewhere on the move.

Found the problem. I had installed Boysen reeds and with only 180 miles on the sled they are destroyed. Calling Boysen this morning.

Boysen reeds are junk I have a set on the bench with about 150 miles on them.I'am not even going to waste my time getting them replaced .

Called Boysen and they are sending the new updated Rage Cage. Apparently they had issues. Customer service was awesome. I'll see if the new design hold together.
