m8 primary sring help

i put a rkt head on my 09 m8 after i put it on it wont pull over 8000 rpms i am thinking if i put a stronger spring in it will go higher i dont quite understand how the spring works if anyone has any threads explaining it or if you just want to explain it to me please help thanks

Simple terms: First number is engagement rpms, second number is finishing rpms. The higher the number on either end means higher rpms, the lower the number means lower rpms.

There is more to it and how it is measured and it differs from one company to the next, but that is the simple way of breaking it down.
