I put on cable ice scratchers on my 05 M7 a couple weeks ago. The only place that made sense to put them was near the front idler wheels. I ended up having to remove the idler wheels to find the right place. After installing, I went to take off the idler blocks that attach to the rails. I then realized they are each attached to each other by a long bolt that runs through both rails and the bottom of the front suspension arm. So, at this point, I still have the idler blocks there because if I take them off, the bolt becomes too long. Any solutions to this? Thank you!
