Over the weekend the trail out of our cabin was so rough I ended up with a broken rear shock. ride FX react adjustable. The threads are a little messed up but I can fix those, and the rod that goes down the center of the shaft is missing. After riding 15 miles with the shock rubbing on the track I am sure it needs to be rebuilt. My question is ........is it worth rebuilding or just repalce? and what to replace with?

Thanks,
John

Send it to Andy at gasshockrepair.com 208-754-4373 he can fix it for about $50 if it needs a new shaft. If it just needs to be rebuilt its only $20 plus about $4 oil. I had him rebuild mine earlier this season awesome service and quick turn around.

I'm going to need a complete shock on mine. The shaft is broken, the threads ripped out of the body and the resevoir is twisted up. Ryde fx makes a 9200 series rear track shock but I'm not sure if it will fit a 159 skid. Has anyone dealt with these before?

I ended up ordering the factory ryde fx shock because my dealer was unsure of how long it would take to get the 9250 and I'm heading to the mountains in a week. Mtnbound please post how your 9250 worked out.

Will do. I am still sending in my stock one to be rebuilt and I have a buddy that will buy the 9250 to replace his stock 02 edge shock:face-icon-small-coo
