Hi fellas, anybody know about replacing a 700 in a 03 edge chassis with a 600 out of an edge. I would really rather put a 600 HO with carbs in it. The 700 is toast. I know the HO is an IQ
600 or 600 HO to replace 700 in an edge

Just went through this with an 800. It would take much more than just swapping the engine. Plus the 700 is a reliable motor. Why not use the parts you have and rebuild the700?
If you decide to go with a 600 and need a set of motor mount straps for a 600 edge I have a brand new set that I would like to sell. I also have the 600 air box for an edge.
