Default What to do with my 97 stock RMK

Do I sell it or build a nice secondary sled / spring time mountain sled? Let's see some of your builds to help me decide. Thanks

they arent worth anything, build yourself a backup sled.
i have a parts 97 rmk in the yard if you need anything. also a 156x2" challenger i bought for it but never put it on after pulling the motor and realizing it was toast.

I have a deep seeded love for the old sleds. I have a 97 that I upgraded it to a GEN II belly pan and Lexan hood. I am just in the process of doing a refresh in the engine compartment and also I am installing a 155" Polaris Pro skid along with a 162" X 2.5 Camo extreme track driven by a titanium driveshaft with Avid drivers. I vote for bring the old dog back to a glory state and make it a sleeper on the hill like I have done. when I pull up to the hill and pass the new sleds mark its seems to be a real attention getter!

I'd keep it, put a longer track on it, raise the bars, and update the skis. The 97 is a legendary sled. I'd love to get my hands on a stock one eventually.

here's mine, only thing I don't like about old iron is how low and back the seats sit, so I swapped a tank and seat from a pro ride rmk. Original height of seat from the top of the tunnel was somewhere around 8.5 inches, and with the new seat its about 14. Havent ridden it yet, but from sitting on it in the yard it feels way better

We put pro seats on a gen 2 and an edge rmk they were both nice improvements. We just fabricated a front support bracket and used the original gas tank.

If you have a 700 cdi, put that on that 600 and it will drive away from a 700.
