I am doing a few upgrades to the Nytro before snow flies and a lightweight lithium battery was on the list. I did a bunch of research and it seems like earthx is the best (most expensive as well!) Looks like this is about an 11 pounds weight savings for $350.
I live in ND so cold was a serious concern. In reviews I saw they are using these in AK with success so I thought why not give it a try. I also always carry my antigravity lithium microstart just in case (you need to buy one of these!).
I will be posting some picks. I got the earthX today and it is about the same size as the stock battery just a little bit shorter. I know what 10 lbs feels like, but when you put them each in one hand it is amazing the difference. If you think about an extra 10 lbs hanging high up on the side of a sled it is quite a bit.
I will be posting pics and performance updates throughout the year.
