I recently bought a 2020 Summit X. It is all OEM and with zero miles.
I may consider installing a can simply to lighten it up a bit.

Would you suggest doing this?
If so, which one would you suggest and why?

FYI.... I'm having a hard time finding one that fits the 2020 850 Summit X.
I do see them listed for the 2019 850 Summit, but not for the 2020 X.

I also recommend Diamond S , call Scott, he will treat you right! SLP is also a nice can , but a little too loud for me!

Did you try the "lightweight" version or the "competition" ?

I have the "lightweight" version. Its not loud at all. Just a different, more attractive sound.

I've read of many failures with the titanium exhaust, that's why I chose to steer clear of them. Who knows if what I read had any validity. For the price I didn't want to take any chances.

GGB saves over 10lbs. over the stock muffler, fits and performs great, and doesn’t break the bank account. (I’ve got a mountain can for sale, because it’s too loud for MN trails and am getting the trail version for this season.)

By the way, I will occasionally read where some of these cans do not perform well, or as well.
Are there some of these that I should avoid?

After seeing (hearing) a few brands, how loud they are, i was talked into a Diamond-S quiet can. After seeing a vid of the compared to stock, and feedback from a few guys I personally know running them, I thought "ok, i'll give it a try thanks"
I was amazed at how low the weight is.

I have had HPS, SLP and SLP Comp. I like them all. HPS is deep and throaty. Pretty good hp pickup for a can. Stock SLP isn't bad for hp and sounds good. I like the SLP comp can with it's bark at wide open. Not many others up here where I ride really. HPS is a bit more money.

I had a Dynoport big core barker on my 18 and it was on the loud side. The HPS I had on my 15 was just right.

Would this MBRP TRAIL Silencer be an OK choice?
Do you know if it will fit the 2020 850 Summit X?
(I found one that I can pick up on my way to Central Oregon)

It appears to be same or very similar to the MBRP Race Exhaust for 2017-2020 Ski-Doo 850 E-Tec | 1320309 as shown here.

Lastly, do you know if adding this would affect my OEM warrantee?
