Hi everybody, do you start to play on your 16' M with Team clutch, Let's your feelings and testing here, regardless elevation.

I current have 16' LTD 3'' at 2-3000ft and the stock setup flat suck, weak backshift, no upshift, inconsistant rpm.

Stock
Primary : 85/235 spring, 72g weight
Secondary : 140/200 spring, 66/49-0.20 helix

Our opinion is that it is all wrong. We are changing out weights, spring, helix and secondary spring on just about every one that we set up.

You need to call racin station and have him dial you in!!!
I like the setup he and Steve at mds set me up with

Can you give us some idea what your doing. I have been waiting to develop a idea. Riding at 5-7 Is different than 10k. To me i can see going to MDS weights and soften the driven spring. I think i like the primary spring and helix angle. But I could be totally wrong. Thoughts?

Give Steve @ MDS a call. I'm at lower elevation like you 500-4000' and was not happy with the stock setup at all. I changed gearing to 20/39 and went with Steve's weights night and day over the Cat setup.

So are you saying you are only running the weights and leaving the springs alone? I do like how the MDS weights responds and gearing up is a must before changing anything.

20/39? Really?

I played in mine, and my next step is to weight arm. I will consider the MDS weight, I'm just reluctant because on my old 09' M, I did not find any improvement after two months of tests vs my clutch setup.

I completely understand and is also why i haven't change anything. The MDS is on my buddies 14. Have you changed the gearing? This really help mine.

Will a bottom sprockets off a 13 fit the 16? Wanting to gear mine up a bit and have the 49 off my old one lying around

Chains are different. Chain and sprocket must match. So, no.
