Not enough RPM — what to do?
Hi, how do I improve the RPMs on my sled? I only get about 7,800 RPM under load (climbing) and it's just not enough to keep me out of trouble. My sled is a '10 M8 SnoPro 153" with an aftermarket can. It was set up by Mountain Magic before delivery and since they're out of business now, I can't call and ask... Sled has about 500 miles on it.
I changed to a pink/blue spring and gained about 100 RPMs but that's not enough. I get almost 8,000-8,100 RPM on flat ground, but it faints going uphill in powder.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
