Phazer wont ingage into gear

we got a new 2008 phazer with 45km on it and it wont move forwards or backwards. it wont engage into gear. the drive light just flashes. any ideas on what this could be?
The ignition keeps on cutting out also.

Ya I have two 08 phazers mtx's with same problem.I just rock it forward and backwards seams to go in gear.Don't know for sure but I think the servo is getting stuck.Not sure about your other problem can you explain it alittle bit?:face-icon-small-win

The biggest problem is that the belt is holding the just enough tension on the gears so that it won't change.

if the idle is too high, the ecu will not let the tranny shift. usually if you shut the sled off and restart it , it sould try and go back into forward. if the light is blinking, then it is stuck between gears. you might have blown a fuse for the reverse gear motor.

i rock it and everything.... has anyone ever broke a chain these?
i got a video if it helps.

Just push it backwards about a foot. Make sure the track turns. It's between gears & the the shift sensor retards the RPM if it is not fully engaged.

Is that 4100 RPM? Is so that's way too high and that's why it won't shift,you can't try shifting it till the idle comes down to 1700

Agreed with Linc, ours wont shift at that RPM. Dino

I was revving it up when it hit 4100 rpm the rev limiter was kicking in then. got it to move fowards today but reverse wont work.
