I bought a 2003 800 vertical escape used and it has a slp pipe and can. I was wondering if I can put any can on there, if i do change it will I need to re jet or anything?
i have an 04 800 159 rmk that has slp pipe and i put on a mbrp can on it its loud sounds great as far as jetting, at first i had slp pipe and can and adjusted the jetting for that, then put on the mbrp can seen no difference just sounded awesome. good luck!!
The can really won`t do much as far as mixture, i have run mbrp cans on slp pipes, and a specialy sleds can on a dynoport pipe. The slp cans are not much good if you ask me, too heavy and sound flat. I just got a nice can for my dragon from HPS, fits good and realy light.
