800 Mod Conversion

Girlfriend kept on me about getting her a sled so i finaly gave in and got one for her. its a 2006 Snopro 440 with a 04 800 speedwerx mod motor. i know its not the most friendly beginer sled but i figured it would be a fun sled for me in the spring.

the sled is in tough shape overall but the plans i have for it will fix all of that. it will be a slow build as im doing it with spare cash but it will be rideable for her by snowfall.




heres whats has to be done for her ride it.

new top end
rebuilt fox float X
M series a-arms
powdercoat front suspension
ceramic coat twin pipes
new intake (current one has lots of rips in it)
new carbides and hyfax
tach and egts
i have to go through the rear suspension
put hand and thumb warmers on

long term plans:

turn it into a 144 untill i finish my 800 standup in a M series chassie and put her on my 07 M8

heres some updated progress. i got the hand and thumb warmers on it. got the foot grips powdercoated. minus one (forgot to take it off) cleaned the powervalves. did some wiring (previous owner obviously didnt know what he was doing) Moved the headlight to the hood. hood is also sitting at the graphic guys shop to get all new 2006 graphics with touches of purple. put new cast pistons in it rather than wiscos. and put the race gas head back on it. im taking the sled to a watercross drag race the weekend after haydays so this is about all thats getting done till after then.
