Does anyone know the exact changes on the 2010 skid geometry and how Yamaha flattened their attack angle? I have been told that they have a longer front arm on their 2010 skid and the rails curve up earlier, this is how they decreased the attack angle. Does anyone know this for sure and if so how much longer is the front arm on the 2010? I am going to go and measure how long my front arm is on the 2010 and will post it up. Hopefully someone can measure one of the earlier ones.

Ok I measured my front arm and it looks about 14.5" centre to centre. Anyone got an 08 or 09 handy they can measure?

Thanks but I was talking with Darrel Baker today and we were comparing the measurements of mine to the older Nytro and all measured the same. I guess the only difference as far as the shallower attack angle goes is the shape of the rails.

Wow so the conclusion is some ice age rails and u get the same approach angle? Unless the drop from the top of the tunnel to the bolt hole is different.

if your talking about the se yes. or something in that area is different than the 08/09 that changed the approach angle of the track

The part numbers are the same for 08/09/10 MTX as far as I can tell.
