Assault Shocks - What to Cover

Hey, Just in the process of picking up an 09 Assault...probably this week yet. Just curious on what are the best options for protecting the shafts and seals on the front and rear shocks so that I can try and prevent the depressurizing problem others have had? Thanks

Skinz makes a set for the front, the rears are conventional shocks with chrome shafts so no worries there.

One of the best setups Ive seen are the guards from Polaris . Theyre about $15 each so its not too spendy for the pair . The part # is 2876984 for a single guard .

I used the Lizardskins neoprene chainstay cover. Skinz hadnt released their shock cover yet. The plastic Polaris WE guards didnt fit because the lower shock mount on the WE Piggyback Airs are larger than the standard WE Airs on the Dragon.

Polaris has another option but perhaps not so stylish. For my Assault I bought 2 OEM shock covers/protectors from the IQ R/RR front track WE Air-shock, fits perfectly and protects better than anything else i have ever seen. Quite cheap too, in Sweden at least
