Who has tried pushing the limits on the 80FI Phazer enginge?

I know the kits out there runs 140 hp on the Phazer, but has anyone tried pushing it?

Are there even LC Pistons and rods out there? How much boost and HP do you guys thing one might be able to run on one?

i tryed it makes the sled rip but i keep doing dumb mistakes the oil plug falling out and i wreaked the motor i cant afford to rebuild it again so i got a mc express kit for sale 3000 bucks

I think mark did (AA/AT) stock motor I believe,runnin close to 20lbs from what I remember, then it shot the rod out the bottom.

i beleived that outlaw tried pushin big numbers from the phazer. It appears to be that the engine block is physically not strong enought to handle it. 260hp in the phazer would be absolutly wild.

run 17lbs on mine once and 16lbs a few times. wouldnt run that for long tho.

Runnin 18 lbs with the shim mcxpress kit stock internals for the last 400 miles no problems yet, knock on wood. rods and pistons are available but pistons are a special order only from JE and Ive been waiting.
