4—Trailers
With all the toys you have, you definitely need something to carry them in. And there were several trailer manufacturers showing the best way to travel in style. We just focused on the gooseneck-style trailers, although there were different styles of bumper pulls on display as well. The four that caught our attention were: Charmac, Logan, High Country and Trails West.
5—Mono Suits
The latest crave is one-piece snowmobile suits. These are not throw-backs from the ‘70s, but suits constructed with the latest and greatest fabrics. Each style has its own unique design. It’s nice to be able to take a close look at each of the more popular makes. At the Idaho Snowmobile Show you could find the following brands: 509 (Allied Mono), HMK (Tundra Ops), Tobe (Velox), Klim (Lochsa) and FXR (Ranger Instinct).
6—Goggles
The challenge with finding a good pair of goggles is to find a pair that fit your face and helmet the best. At the Idaho Snowmobile Show we were able to examine eight types of goggles: Fly (Zone Snow), Smith (Skyline), 509 (Sinister), FXR (Core Optics), Abom, Scott (Prospect Snow Cross), Klim (Oculus) and HMK.
7—Pipes and Cans
Naturally, you don’t think of pipes or cans without thinking of Starting Line Products. Two of the products SLP had on display were the Ski-Doo Single Pipe and the PicNicR—a lightweight can with a Hot Dogger attached. HPS also had its lightweight cans for the most popular snowmobiles. We also came across the GGB Trail Can, a Canadian company.
8—Other
Although there were lots of things scattered throughout the show, here are just a few of the products we saw mixed in that should be considered: BCA Float 2.0 avi pack, Carl’s Cycle Fox Shox kit, Ibex ice scratchers, Kim Built sled deck, Silber turbos, SLP skis and ToyUp sled deck.
