I lost a rod bearing end of this last riding season, clutch side. It took the piston with it but didn't touch the cylinder, i got lucky. I am going to rebuild the crank with all new bearings but can't figure out a good solution for the top end. Do i put a fix kit on it? or do i put some pistons in without the spacer? I am hoping some of you have some good advice. I would like to spend the least amount of money but put the motor together correctly. Please don't bash that comment. thanks for any input.

what is the prices like? where do i find them?

If your looking for a cheap short term fix then Indy Specialties is not for you. If you want an engine with a far better warranty guarantee than Polaris gives you then Indy Specialties is.

His website; http://www.indyspecialty.com
His E-bay store:http://stores.ebay.com/indyspecialty/

Prices depend on how much of the engine you want blueprinted to far better than Polaris Spec's. and how long of warranty you want. You can look at the two links and figure it out or call him to discuss your needs.
