Its a clean sled. Not that I'm well known around here but I can vouch for Kestrel and the overall condition this thing is in. Great deal...you wont be disappointed.

Here are pics from right before I put in the new '09 motor and then after it was installed. It has been on a couple stand runs, and in and out of the trailer a few times since, but that is it. I also have an extra pipe and Turbo flange, as well as an extra set of Boyesen Turbo Reed Petals, that go with the sled. Along with any other parts that I have for that sled.View attachment 116506

Nah, not gonna scrap it. It's more hassle than I want to deal with. I think I'd end up with a lot of parts and part of a sled that wasn't rideable. If it doesn't sell, I'll just keep it and ride it once in a while until it does.

IDk man, it is something to consider. I was so close to parting my sled out. The motor, chassis, and suspension parts will be sold in a few days, and that is enough money to get close to what you want.

$3000 for the used turbo, $3000 for the engine, probubly $1500 for the bulkhead/tunnle, plastics, probubly $1500-2000 out of the suspension, $500 for hood and cluster.... so there we are up to around

$9000 give or take... And you will have a tone of spare random *** parts that you only need when it is a holiday and it just got done snowing...

anywhoo..ttt for a sweeeet sled

Don't scrap it. It is a hassle, and then everyone wants nice quality parts for way less than 1/2 price. If they want the part let them do what you did pay full price.

You will never get retail for a used part. even if it is "new" in never used condition, no one will ever pay retail. I sell things for 1/2 to 3/4 retail. I totaled a sled that i wanted to sell for $6000. Insurance gave me $4000 cash. I bought it back for $900. Sold the engine for $1700, sold the chassis for $400, seat $200, tank $200, Chain case $300, skid $400, front suspension $300. I would have got more, but some one stole alot of the parts off of it when it was in the mountains.

And then i had tones of random mounts, cables, bolts, flanges, springs, tubes.... ETC. I built half of my IQR project off of spare parts i had laying around. The reasons why i said to part it out, is i would be interested in the turbo.... :face-icon-small-win

Anyways, good luck on the sale. :tea:
