You'll want the Ford style pressurized fuel filter tool available at any auto parts. 5/16" for the top fitting and 3/8" for the bottom. They come in a few differnt styles. I have found that the cheapo plastic ones don't work so good. I like the annodized aluminum scissor looking ones. Your parts guy will know what your talking about. Good luck. EW
edit:
Might was to depressurize the system at the Shrader valve (looks like a valve stem on a tire) near the filter in the return line I believe.
Found a few pics
This is the filter, section of hose attached to top with fitting, fitting only at bottom
This is the bottom fitting
This is the cheapo removal tool, goes inside the fitting to release the locking hands. Same theory on the good tool but they are thicker for a better release IMO.
This is the cheapo set that I didn't like so well. As I mentioned, I think you can get 3/8 & 5/16 on the same scissor tool.
Filter looks like this when its out
Found this blue filter in Western Power Sports for way cheaper but it doesn't work. WPS states it fits all CFI motors, but it only fits 05/06 900's. Its too short for 08 and up.
