Raising Huskies is HARD.
About a year ago Sasha began developing cysts on her back right along her spine, as time went by 1 became 2, and 2 became 5 and eventually they burst and began draining. With the help of the other dogs they became horribly infected and finally had to be surgically removed this morning. So my poor sweet little girl has this 9 inch incision on her back from her neck to her shoulders and gets to wear a T-Shirt for the rest of the winter to protect her from Frost Bite.
First it was Misha losing both of her eyes, then Tasha having her knee rebuilt, and now Sasha. These Huskies have been through the Wringer!

It breaks our hearts to see them go through these things, and at the same time it amazes me how tough they are, because they shrug everything off and make the most of every day. We could learn from them.
