600 turbo questions

Hey I'm wondering if there is anyone who has turbo'd a 600 pro or even a dragon and I was wondering do you make good power I love the 600 feel so much lighter and maneuverable. so I would think that a 600 turbo would be such a fun sled but people say it sucks because not much bottom end and do you have to run race gas to make it worth it on the 600 and how's the reliability

I have a 660 iq turbo and it runs great. I do run 10 lbs of boost so I blend race and 92 or run AV gas. I will agree that the bottom end is not as responsive as an 800, however once it is over 6500 rpm the boost is on and it's every bit as responsive as an 800. I believe the 600 motor is built better than the 800 from a reliability standpoint. I have not had any issue with my sled. Over 3300 miles on it and I plan on putting many more on.

done lots of 600's. they are a fun little ride. bottom end is the same as any other sled. have one in the shop right now getting going.

Do you have any vids of it? Sounds like a cool setup.

No videos of it but I'll see if I can post some pics. I can't take credit for the build. It was built by Boston racing and I did a few more upgrades. I stuck an easy ryde under it with anti ratchet drivers under it this year. It doesn't look like much from the outside which is what I like. I've looked at picking up a pro 600, doing the Carl's 660, and finishing it off with a turbo. I have a hard time doing it when mine runs as well as it does.

First pic is the aftermarket fuel injection system. This pic is the turbo. It doesn't look like much but it runs hard!!

It has had lots of time invested in it. The tuning programmer looks like an old hand held spelling computer. It's actually really easy to play around with but I haven't had to do much. As I said before, Boston racing built it. I just get to enjoy it now. I have to give credit where credit is due.
