2005 RMK/FUSION 900 IQ BILLET chaincase option!!!

I have been talking to a guy that made some VERY nice BILLET chaincases for the following models: (if you want the models below, they are ready to ship)
-2006 Fusion 600, 700, 900
-2006 RMK 700, 900
-2006 600, 900 Switchback
-2006 700 Classic
-2007 600 IQ, 700 Dragon
-2008 600 IQ, 600 / 700 Dragon
-2008 800 IQ
-2008 IQ Shift
-2009 600 IQ, 600 / 800 Dragon

AND IF I CAN GET 15 PEOPLE that want to get a BILLET CHAINCASE for their 2005 RMK 900/Fusion 900 then he will make them..

Price is TBD.....i will update as soon as i hear back from him..

THEY ARE EXCELLENT quality and will be an outstanding option for those of us with 05 models...

This cover weights only 1 lb…same weight as the plastic cover.

This aluminum cover will replace your plastic chain case cover, which is known to warp and leak from the heat of the exhaust. You can choose to have it in several different finishes: as-machined (with the tool path marks still in it), polished, anodized or powder coated in the color of your choice (limited to basic colors: red, black and others if we have the powder in stock). If not specified the unit will be shipped with the as-machined finish. It can be used with your seal and sight glass from your old cover or for an additional $30.00 you can purchase the cover with a new seal and sight glass already installed for your convenience.

yes you are correct..he is selling the 06 model on ebay right now..

the pricing is for the 06 model cause has a bunch of them in hand right now..

and is asking $more for the 05 models since he has to make the first batch of them...

Are you sure it is for the 2005?

The chaincase for 2005 is much larger than the 2006 !!!

he said he got alot of emails, but i broke him finally..lol..

Paramuir..the billet is stronger of coarse...ZERO chance or warping from heat, no need to heat tape...color options...just a nice thing to have to ensure there is no chance of warping/leaking IMO..

Plastic covers have warped and leaked all the oil out.

AND...alot of them have even started on fire from what i have read...something about the magnesium thats in the plastic.....NOT GOOD..

hmmm ya that would not be good....so the ones you are getting for the 900's what color and what will they look like....also i am guessing this is all american prices....i am in ontario

Anyone looking for a billet cover for the 06 and up, I would reccomend this one over avids. I bought one from avid(musta jacked there prices, was only 89 couple months ago). It doesn't have the "hump" for the jackshaft and it won't clear. Luckily I'm a machinist so I clearanced the cover and got it to work.
