Come on guys,I think the XP will be a good sled, but I beg to differ on them taking the M1 if set up properly,we'll be in Revy this next week with 3 or 4 XP's and we'll know better then.Last season,my M1 was running ok and a couple of guy's had their KK 999's and they by no means ran away,if anything,I thought the M1 was slightly ahead, but that would be tooting my own horn.I will admit,I'm courious to see the XP's go, may be looking for a new sled for the wife next year???

Apples to oranges. What type of comparison do you want? I'm sure each would shine in different conditions. Rider ability and setup always plays a huge role.

Like all sled vs. sled after a certain point it comes down to rider ability. I weigh 170 with sled gear and backpack and ride XP 154, my buddy weighs 280 with riding gear and rides the m1000 162. We haven't had a chance to poke at a good hill yet. It is close but i'll give the edge to the cat. "There is no repacement for displacement" Tell your buddy^^^ to pull his panties up and ride. other wise why waste money on an 8 buy a 600 instead... sorry just my rant. It makes me:mad: when riders don't use the full potential of their sled.

my .02 cents

I have rode with many XP's, rode many XP's and own a bone stock, properly clutched 2008 M1000 sno pro, in no way and I mean in any way is there a stock sled, this includes the XP, that can come close to the M1000, I will lay the green down boys!
I find this topic kinda funny, like comparing my M1000 to my Turbo Apex.
rode with a BD turbo Dragon a week ago and climbing a hill I was 1 length behind him with my 1000......havent seen a 2 stroke turbo that works great yet. the 1000 has about 10+ mph track speed on the 800....yes it was that bad!

remember if the M1000 is not revving at 7200 it will lose to most dialed in 800's

the stock RT 1000's did so well in the hills they stopped making them!
cant compare the RT 1000 to a M1000.......M is good and the RT is not.

lets start a pssn match!

hey its all personal preference, if it helps I would own a doo before a Poo, lol
