A lot of you have asked tech details about the ZF Sprockets snowbike track, so I decided to start a new thread on it. Driver is 7 tooth with 2.86mm pitch. All around it has many unique features, and when you combine them all, the feeling is quite different on the positive side, see below:
Length: 127"
lug height: 2.56"
wide: 12.5"
Lug flex: stiffer, does not fold back and holds it shape better for max traction
Center lug spacing: longer at 6" for max track speed (** compared to timbersled lugs which are spaced shy of 5 3/4)
Compared to the narrow rail on other kits, ZF is a kind of a hybrid . It hangs out almost twice as much compared to the non-narrow rail timbersleds. If measured from the metal slides to the track edge, is is shy of 1 inch (see pictures)
