What is your favorite if all time sled you personally have owned? Not the best. It would make sense that’s the newest, but the one you had the most fun on.

For me. 2003 Polaris Vertical Escape
Mine was a red 2000 Polaris RMK 800 151 snow check that I put a psi 890 motor in for a couple years and then went to the PSI 1080 motor for a couple more years. Huge power and torque and it was just a lot of fun.

2005 M7 EFI 153. Got it new and rode the hell out of that thing Jr/Sr years of high school and all through college. Gas, oil, and go! Still have it and use as a backup sled on occasion. Pictured with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runner up!

Hard to put anything past my 21 Turbski 165. Stock out of the box, absolute funnest sled I've ever had. I would say it's a tie though with my 2014 Trygstad 872 race sled. That thing rippppped for a N/A sled and was built to ride as hard as you could up anything.

my '16 axys.

I had all but gotten sick of sleds and was snowbiking for a while, got onto an axys and it completly changed sledding for me. That chassis opened the door to becoming a serious rider, not just an addict who liked to build sleds.

1993 Phazer II ST. I put an Aaen pipe on it and had a blast with it. Not the most powerful or fast but if the snow wasn't crazy deep that thing went just about anywhere.

I still have it. It is 1991 polaris 500 indy converted to a full on mountain mod sled around 1998. Tons of light weight parts, skidoo heat exchanger in the tunnel, handle bars off a dirt bike because risers were not around yet, 141 track with 2inch plastic paddles, EGT's and a PSI racing 800 triple with a huge hole in the hood to make room for the pipes. The thing was border line scary and hard to hang on to. I pulled the grips right off the bars from hanging on for dear life a couple of times while wide open with realllly good tracktion. I used to bring it out once in a while to keep the newer turboed sleds honest on the hills. But now I am getting older and bumps aren't getting any smaller and it is not nearly as cushy to ride as my new sled. I wish I had the time, money and knowhow to put that motor in a new chassis.

Most reliable sled ever, low maintenance, easy on fuel and a blast to ride. Early stock 800 sleds couldn't keep up or climb with it. Broke trail for many a sled throughout the years. I'm finally going to part with it this year, due to a new Alpha one that sits in the garage. IMG_1142.JPG

Loved my Mtn Max. I had a Bender can, that sled was heard way before you saw it.

2008 polaris 600 rmk. Taught me to ride better since I was underpowered. Got such a good laugh everytime when i would climb up and help someone i didnt even know that was stuck and they would ask me if it was an 800.

Still got it , just been sitting for a few years . In it's final stages it was for a good laugh of memories and a good laugh usually in tears from laughing so hard . It was all or nothing , all to just drive, nothing on the kill for a toddy . If the tank could grab enough traction it could actually wheelie out of the hole or dig one .

Man if that’s a recent photo, I highly recommend you keeping that if you can manage it.
I wish I had my old triple triple 600xcr, I still regret selling it. IMO none of today’s sleds are what the old triples were.

I have to agree, I maybe known as cat boy now but roots run deep in Polaris. No one that ever saw me on the Ultrapig will ever forget it. It was an almost stock 96 ultra.

'09 m1000.....serious light weight, down 45 lbs from stock....ported, piped and all the engine stuff i could think of....lots of time and money in clutching and other things to make it fast in the mountains....dyno'd at 190 hp & 140 lb/ft of torque....took it to Fairfield hill climb shootout, waited for the turbo guys to figure out who their fastest was and then lined up against him....the climb started with the skis at the bottom of the steep part of the mountain at about 10k ft of elevation, the race was about 300 yds on very steep hill.....the 1000 beat him handily, the turbo had faster top end for sure, but my hole shot and first 200 yards was so fast he couldn't catch up....that instant track speed made it a good sled in trees despite a little bit of heavy in the front end....we used to play a game of pointing out a difficult climb to a ridge or mountain top a mile or so away, and seeing who could get there first, or frequently not at all....the 1000 shined doing that.....my son bought that sled and could beat any of the new stuff i've had since then....my modded alpha could finally saw him off, but only if the powder was at least two feet deep....memories and expectations are the best part of sledding...;)
