Will 2015 pro shocks fit 2016 axys?

Will the front resevoir shocks from a 2015 pro fit and work on a 2016 axys pro?

The axys shocks are shorter than the pro shocks.

I know the early Pro shocks used heavier hardware and had a heavier strut rod but the extra length on the Axys was below the shock mount so it might be the same length. I used an older Assault shock on my 16 Axys until I could get it fixed and that one was slightly longer as those had a wider ski stance.

Thanks. Would any axys chassis shock fit any axys chassis? Ie would the shocks off a 2020 850 fit a 2016 800?

11-12 pro rmk shocks where longer than the 13-15 pro rmks and yes the assault shocks where longer because the assault had a wider ski stance. The length of each shock I dont remember any more. As far as the axys question it should be the same length as long as it doesn't have the react front end or an assault or kahos. The react is a narrower ski stance vs the standard axys rmk assault is wider.

That depends on if you have the stock 2016 arms. Up through 2018 arms were a 39 inch stance width. 2019+ have the react 36" width which uses an even shorter shock than the older axys

Thanks guys, great info. I recently bought a 2016 pro 800. Stock suspension. I would like to put a set of remote resevoir shocks on the front, skid also if I can find a set. Would it be worth it or not?

Basically look at the ski stance width. Shocks form a 38 inch wide AXYS will fit another year 38" wide. The Assault is wider, the 19+'s are narrower. And older ProRide chassis use thicker bolts to mount so new bushings would be needed.

Stock shocks on 15 Pro RMK (not standard rmk) and stock shocks on 2015-2018 Axys RMK are the same length and interchangeable - the original question. When in doubt, just measure eye to eye length. Rear shocks are not the same Pro->Axys though.
