wildcat 700

hi, i resently got a 95 wildcat 700efi, im curious wich oil i need to run. im looking at the spectro syn-sno for power valves. my question is , does this have power valves or should i get the normal syn? thanks :beer;

The older 700's on the wildcats and zr's didn't have power valves. Just get a good quality synthetic and you will be fine.

If you've got a few hours to kill this thread has some great info on oils. Don't let the thread title fool you. If it were me I would just get some regular old castrol and run it. The biggest argument I can see for synthetic is to keep power valves clean. Your sled doesn't have PV's so I would just run regular oil and save the money.

I'll say this. Those engines hold up. THey are nearly bulletproof. I had a 93 wildcat engine that lasted up until two years ago. It was moved from the wildcat to the ZR chassis and kept right on kicking. It had about 12,000 miles on it when she finally went.
Good luck -- gas and oil and let er rip.

I Agree. Castrol Super 2-Stroke is all you need to run. It's what we've always run in all ages of Cats and never had a problem.

Injex has a good product, ive ran that for years in non pv sled and it worked great. Cheap too
