Let me cover the 2-stroke turbo "nevers" during my Snowest time:
- There will never be a pump gas 2 stroke turbo.
- It's impossible to get throttle response from a 2-stroke turbo.
- 2-stroke turbos will never be reliable
- 2-stroke turbos will never be affordable
- 2-stroke turbos will never get good mileage
- Low boost 2-stroke turbos will never be in demand
- 2-stroke turbos will never run well in deep snow
Isn't that the truth!
They've come a LONG ways in the last 10 years since they really started to hit the market.
I'm guessing Ski-Doo and Aerocharger team up and put out a factory turboed 850 with full warranty.![]()
Areocharger, but I know lots of the hill climb guys switched to Turbo Performance last season. So....
So long as we get SNOW, this is going to be a GOOD SEASON...![]()
You might actually have a sled to ride other than a Phazer.......
Maybe EVO will build a turbo kit for Chris' 2017 Doo.
Yes, I went there. LOL
Kind of a Dou*hy comment from a snowest sponsor towards a major supporter of this site
EDIT
On a side note i look forward to throwing a leg over aerochargers setup. Talked with those guys already a little bit. Sounds promising.
Seen this awhile back.
That's Carl Kuster's shop. Ski doo might be working on an OEM turbo then.

Im pretty sure carl has been working with aerocharger...i know for a fact thats a aerocharger turbo
Couldn't agree with you more.
Aside from his comment though, I AM LOOKING FORWARD to boosting of of my new 850s
Doo has officially posted on dooooood talk.
No turbo coming. You do not need a turbo and doo said it in print. In fact they go so far as to say turbos are less than .01 percent of the market and will not produce an oem version for a non existent market
