Where Is the best off trail riding in the blackhills

I cross country ski in both the designated areas in the hills and snowmobile. Every time i hear a snowmobile it puts a HUGE GRIN on my face. Dont see why everyone cant just be like me!!!! Wink Wink, Jayme

What is the best city to stay near in the black hills to get the best powder riding?

What we always do is stay in spearfish, then on the first day we go out riding we trailor down to trails head and we leave the trailor there over night for the rest of the trip. works good for us ...and you wouldnt have to stay at spearfish you could stay in deadwood or lead to.

In my opinion if you go on the trails out east of trailshead there are some nice medows and hills to get off on and start boonin
