Be very careful out there everyone... this was a pit dug just to the southeast of Two Top on a southern facing slope. bout 5 feet deep. 14" of super sugary surface facets ontop of 3' of relatively dense pack and the last foot of fresher snow. If its gonna go... its gonna be big.

Just this weekend about 40 miles north @ Buck Ridge a large slide was triggered under the very same conditions - the crown was 4-10' deep.

Have they gotten any more snow this week. I see that there is and has been a 50% chance of snow lately.

You MIGHT get lucky!
Right now the long range forcasts are calling for snow 1-2 weeks out.
Its very "IFY" at this point, but your timing might just be spot on.



So, please remember, this is fantasy land as far as this model(15 day total snowfall-most in the last 7)......but after the dismal looking next 7 days....the models are picking on on what looks to be a very active 7 days.....The spring snow season is up next......sometimes its epic....other times it's a bust.....but this is good to see....

Was in West....its very brutal. I'd save your money or direct it somewhere else where there is still some decent precip.

We got lucky! Fresh foot in town Last Saturday and Sunday. The streets were bare by Tuesday when we left. Here are a couple of pics.
