Where to get non carbide wear bars for the new ski's, not feeling like making them this time...

Take a grinder to the carbides.

It is about a 6 pack type Job to get them smoothed out to the point there they do not catch or damage your trailer and floors. it will still make them outlast straight steel bars 3 to 1

I usually grind them, but I noticed these wear bars have carbides on the tip also, lots of grinding!
Maybe torch and weld this time

The 2017 wear bars are the same as earlier model pilot ski bars we have them in titanium if you're interested check out the website and I do have some in stock. Thank you. Dan

Dan, I dont see them on the website?
I'll take a set of steel wear bars!

Woodys hardbar topstock part # hsd-9500 36.00 for the steel option

fits ds1,ds2 and ds3 ski

I grind them primary so they do not hook on rocks and secondary to save wear and tear on trailers and garage floors. The carbide will still be of use just not as aggressive and like I said before they last a lot longer when you are on the spring grave trail in runs than just straight steel. Bonus is they come with the sled with no extra charge.:face-icon-small-win
