We have a total of 3 IQ mountain sleds and all of them have the wave washers missing on the rear torque arm. I only noticed them because I was replacing bearings on one sled and it had a partial broken one in place. I checked the other 2 sleds and they did not have any at all. I don't know if they broke and fell out over the years or were never there.
They are item # 13 on the parts diagram. Polaris IQ rear torque arm
Are they really necessary or would a flat washer suffice to be a buffer between the bearing and the spacer ( item # 15) ?
I can easily snug up the spacer to the bearing and lock it in position using the set screw.
