Here's some pics of the Fire n Ice vents. They are carbon fiber frames that come with a limited lifetime warranty. They can be bought individually or as a kit. Call Paul if you have any questions, 208-523-1311. You can also visit his web site: http://firenice.us

The only exception is the intake vent on the nose of the hood. It's only for the lite-weight hood Paul offers, which drops around 12-13lbs. It too is available on the website or by calling him.

I like this hood, but honestly not a fan of where the gauge is mounted. Is it possible to mount down by the windshield? Or would it interfere to much with the intake? Sorry don't mean to hijack thread.

Difficult to say if can mount down by the windshield. The main intake is right there. Give Paul a call and ask him is the best bet. FYI that sled is Kevin's (Kmod) '14 M8. He absolutely loves the hood and says the weight loss is very noticeable and also likes where the gauge is mounted, being his suggested location.

Sounds good, thank you! I sent Paul an email. The bigger issue maybe the 3" postforward kit I run. Might not be enough clearance for the intake.
