turbo 1200 xr build

have you had the sled out at all yet? just wondering what elevation you are at, and if you can point me in the right direction for some clutching. at least until i get this polar clutch figured out plus the shock wave helix, both are new to me. i am at 1700 elevation. and i am only pulling 7000 peak rpm, with how it came from powderlites. and it engages at 3000 rpm.

thanks in advance. jkl

What boost are you running at and what do you plan on running most of the time. I have been at 10lbs and my rpms were the same 7000. Didn't want to change it because I want to run around 14-16 most of the time. I turned it up to 13-14 last ride and the rpms were right around 8k. That was at 4000ft

well , talked to polar, they said to try and crank the shockwave all the way in and double check belt tension, it is now reving just under 8000 rpm, and clutches are both cool to the touch. may have to drop a bit of weight in the primary yet, as i am at 12 lbs boost, and i plan on running only 6-8 for the trail (boost is turned all the way down, and should be running @ 6 lbs, hmmm ?). and my AFR's are around 11, so have a bit of tuning to do there yet, so far cooling has not been a problem with the renegade, and our low snow conditions. but i have not really beat on it YET. need to get it dialed before doing that.
