Ridgid box from Home Depot. Think I paid like $25. Cut off the handle, and rip the plastic liner out of top. Replaced with foam.

Been beating on this thing for 2 years. One of my top 5 mods in my career. Waterproof, good latches, and the foam holds everything tight while riding.

That's awesome. Where did you get the shovel holder at? Could you provide more information on how you attached the box to the tunnel?

……..
If anyone is thinking about pelican cases you should reconsider.
they are terrible to open when snow and ice freezes in the latches.
the “nanuk” brand case latches are way better in snow/ ice usage.

Thought about the hard shell cases but shied away as I figured that they would tend to crack in cold / roll overs ...latches are def easier than frozen zippers but would need a safety to prevent unintended opening ...

Negative. I roll my sled probably a dozen times a day. Has never broke open by itself.

I also ice fish Lake of the Woods in -20F weather without any issues.

Nanuk latches have a built in safety. (2 stage)
zero issues at -30F

I just made my own tool roll and a separate bag for sockets and loose items. Figure I would make a fold out pocket of sorts so when you have loose tools or parts you someplace to rest them so you aren't chasing them in the snow. It packs in my under seat bag real easy this way. Red bag is for my Pieps beacon for storage in my gear bag.

Those labels are from the masks I made a while back. I didn't have time to do the website stuff since Microsoft was involved, things got interrupted and put on the back burner.
