Titles Required for Washington Snowmobiles

For those not in the WSSA (and you should be) this message came out regarding a DOL screw up

Greetings WSSA!

I just received a phone call from Pamela McConkey, our Winter Recreation Program Manager. She was just informed by the Department of Licensing (DOL) they sent out 749 notices to snowmobile owners regarding their machines not being titled.

This is a mistake and DOL is aware of it. (Snowmobiles in WA are not titled, only registered annually.) They will be sending out new notices acknowledging this error.

In the mean time, if you received one of these notices from DOL, please disregard.

More importantly , they need to start issuing titles on them.
Kind of stupid that they don't. Even my gals in the DOL office I go to can't understand why they don't.
