Thumb warmer harness into blue block?

My 2017 Assaults thumb warmer has quit. Seems common. Traced to tight bend over frame at base of handle bars. Harness appears to terminate into a blue plastic block??
Before I cut all the newly attached ( post recalls) tie wraps , what is this?

Your thumbwarmer harness should not be terminating into that block, I'd guess you're mis-tracing the wires. Have a closer look.

Hmmm… Colors were correct…but see from your attachment that speed sensor is very similar
Will cut the straps and pull it apart.
