The Cedaredge Lodge & Grand Mesa Lodging

SnowyFront

IMG_4259

The Cedaredge Lodge is located on Hwy 65 in the small mountain town of Cedaredge, Co. just 14 miles south of the Visitors Center on the Grand Mesa. We may not be on the Grand Mesa, however, you'll have the best of both worlds here at your fingertips... You're only 2 minutes from gas, groceries and adult beverages, or 5 minutes from the Surface Creek trailhead and another 5 minutes from the SP Trail!!! VERY, VERY, NICE!!!

Being located in such a small community, we have the opportunity to provide what we like to call a “mini-resort” at a very reasonable price (rates below). We are a friendly kind of place where you'll feel more like a long lost friend than a guest. You'll be able to enjoy all the snow, sledding and trails one could ask for up on the mountain, but when you're done riding, come on down and enjoy the amenities of our creek side lodge.

Just picture this, after enjoying a long fun filled day of sledding on the Grand Mesa you return to The Cedaredge Lodge, toss your wet gear into the dryers in our on site laundry facility, take a warm comforting shower or relax in our creek side hot tub next to a blazing fire pit. For dinner, you can order room service from our new "Lodge Kitchen". If you're a little more independent head to our enclosed creekside lounge deck that features a complete kitchen, sofas, tables, chairs, eat at bar & real wood burning stove for fireside dining. Turn on the satellite tv, fire up a grill, or prepare the meal of your choice. After warning up and dinner, you and your friends can spend an exciting evening of challenging games in our game room!!! Any way you go, you can expect a good nights sleep in one of our warm comfortable rooms listening to the sounds of the creek!!! Before you head home, don't forget to schedule a relaxing therapeutic massage to put you back in shape for the ride home.

We have 8 available rooms and suites that will accommodate 11-13 individual beds. So, get your group of friends and family together and head out to play. Whatever you decide to get into, our relaxed intimate setting here at the Lodge is great for groups to hang out and enjoy a break together. Our amenities (photos below) are all available for your exclusive use. Please feel free to make yourself at home while you’re with us and take advantage of all we have to offer. We invite you to plan your retreat well in advance and plan to stay awhile!!! We promise, once you get here you won’t want to leave"

Ribs & "HUGE" burger, two very good selections!!!

Hey Chaos,

Your selection of ribs is a good one, the only issue you're going to have is what flavor to choose!!!

1) Hot & spicy (very flavorful and savory but with a little kick, it'll put you in mind of a buffalo wing only grilled and 1000 times better)... :face-icon-small-win

2) Sweet & slightly spicy (brown sugar & citrus, smothered in a hearty bar-b-cue sauce glaze until carmelized)... Yummy!!! :face-icon-small-hap

3) Garlic & herb, grilled & lightly smoked for an unbelievable array of flavors!!! :face-icon-small-ton

4) Down home smoked to perfection with my "top secret" rub... Have them dry or slathered with your choice of sauces!!! Their the closest thing to "regular" bar-b-que that'll be on our menu...

Are you hungry yet???

Any of our menu items will be available by way of room service and delivered to your room hot and fresh, you'll also be able to phone in an order and get it to go!!!

Our kitchens "official grand opening" will be February 2011... Get your appetite ready, we're putting on the finishing touches as I type.

Gary...

Sounds Great

We love ribs will give you a try. Rooms look very nice. We are always glad to see the Mesa have lodging choices. We have Cedaredge lodge in town, Grand Mesa Lodge(cabins) Thunder Mountain Lodge(cabins) and Mesa Lake Lodge which I have not visited since new owners. I can say that we always enjoy our trips to Cedaredge. Oh by the way the sledding is ok too.

Thank you!!!

Hello Spike,

Donna & I would like to thank you for including us in your list of Grand Mesa interests. Since purchasing this property 2 years ago we've worked hard to upgrade & turn this little piece of heaven into all that it can and should have been for friends & guests alike!!!

We're honored just to be mentioned in the same sentence as Thunder Mountain Lodge, Grand Mesa Lodge & Mesa Lakes Resort... One really can't go wrong with any one of those excellent choices!!!

I'm sure all of the previously mentioned businesses (including The Cedaredge Lodge) is just trying to get the word out about the Grand Mesa and all that it truly has to offer, not just spring, summer & fall activities but unbelievable winter activities as well, oh and our ribs aren't too bad either, bring a big appetite!!! :face-icon-small-win

Spike, we'll look forward to your visit sometime after February 1st which is going to be our kitchens Grand Opening month, and please be sure to let us know that it's you...
