Tach/Light malfuntion

Got an older, 1993 Polaris RXL, that the headlight, tail/stoplight and tach don't work. Replaced dimmer switch, tried different tach and headlight. Still nothing works. Anyone have a suggestion? I have checked all connections and everything is hooked together and no broken wires. I'd sure appreciate any help. Thanks.

A buddy of mine had a similar prob. on an XLT. Turned out to be a problem with the stator.

My daughter's sled ('91) has a similar issue. For a while the low beam and brake light wouldn't work. We tried switching everything. The brake light started working again but the low beam never did. I'm not much help but at least I can share in the pain
