should i rebuild, or part out???

just blew the motor in a '00 700 rmk, the pto side cylinder, head, and crank are all toast. my question is should i just look for a stock motor, mod motor, or just part out the sled and start out with something else. This was supposed to be the wife's sled soon as i get a new one, now she is pissed that i get a new sled and her sled is toast. there are a lot of good parts still on the sled. what would you do???

I would find a running motor from a nouther 700 or 800 and just drop it in and give it to her .
