Riding areas near Winter park ???

Would appreciate some suggestions on riding areas near winter park , my wife and I are planning a trip to my brothers place in winter park at the end of January . I have ridden around grand lake several years ago and found many great areas , but with the wife I would like to stay close to winter park to keep trailering to a minimum ! Any help would be much appreciated ! My brother doesn't ride and is new to the area so not much help !

You have corona pass across from the ski resort or church park that is by frasier.

If it was my place , I'd say no problem , buy being that it is my brothers and they will be there with family I'll have to pass this time . Maybe if we come out sometime and he is not there we could make it work !

If snow is good you can head west out of Fraser by the Safeway, under RR bridge, veer left on Elk Creek Road past the Bronco colored tubing hill. This will dead end in about a mile or so at a nice open meadow with plenty of parking. Several trails from there. If you want more off trail riding Corona would be the next choice, access is from the Lakota subdivision just across road from the ski area. Combination of both is Church Park, west of Fraser on County Road 50 towards Crooked Creek Ranch, road dead ends there as well.
