The other challenge is that we all have something different mounted on our tunnels and a one-size-fits-all cover that included the tunnel would either have to be length specific or long enough to cover a 175 plus any fuel can, tunnel bags, racks, etc. that are on the tunnel. It would end up extra baggy and still full of flapping straps and buckles. I'm ok with my cover, it's really mostly for storage since I use a sled deck and don't catch too much road spray up top.
those are good points but i'd say don't put all the stuff on your tunnel till you're ready to ride. for the different tunnel lengths either offer diff lengths or and/or have a strong bungee cord sewn into the bottom perimeter or a cinch strap. you could even make a cover that just protects the tunnel/skid and then the standard cover goes over the front part of the tunnel cover and that way customers can choose between partial of full coverage. i have to think there's a good market for this.

It's so nice to get dressed inside of a heated trailer, and then to warm up when we come back in.
Being all aluminum (light weight) is a real plus.
I've also added aluminum wall mount storage boxes.

These covers are the best out there so far , someone was actually thinking .
At first I thought ya this is for the sled beds .
It is so nice to load and unload in any condition without fighting the blasted cover , just peel and pull .
Made me a believer , it's not just for the sled beds .

I have the ROC and while I like the functionality of it, the durability falls short. I am 1100 miles to the nearest riding spot and the cover sees a lot of mileage on the deck.
1. Bungee cord the area around the A-arms
2. Bungee cord the area round the handlebars/riser (I have a lower riser and it is loose here)
3. The area behind the seat didn't make it the first trip, the elastic let go and is now tattered/shredded.
4. The cover is too thin to be durable in the wind, the stitching just doesn't hold up.
I'd like to see a more durable cover like the Cat or Polaris that covers the entire tunnel.
With that said, if you are doing short trips, I think the covers would be perfect. But 70+ mph down the interstate through howling mountain passes (Dead Man's Flats in Alberta, Livingston Montana etc) will do these things in real quick.

This ROC I have is on its second sled, no issues with it at all.
It also gets washed after every trip, and its installed properly.
There are two areas id like to see more padding tho, the a-arms, and the area between the seat and the fuel cap. I have to put a sheet on my sled to protect it from the cover.
