Removing Gas Tank - Any Tips??

I plan to remove my gas tank from my 07 M8 (looking for a grounded out wire). Thought I would check here first to see if anyone has tips for removing it. Thanks!

The tank can be removed easily
remove the seat and the nuts that hold the tank
the fuel hose
fuel pump wire
the nuts that hold the steering support to the tank,you can leave the suport bar
Small bolts above the footrest that hold the console to the foot rest
Lift the back of the the tank off the studs and slid it back

I may have forgot some thing but it is easy to remove.

Just moved/lifted my tank this week for harness investigation as well. The coolant bottle is attached to the tank so instead of cutting that loose, just left it along with the fuel line and fuel pump harness attached.

The worst part is the silly design of the lower console attachment. Whoever designed that never ever took one apart or they would have changed it.
