So I dont see a single thread on forums regarding the older M-series big bores. I just picked one up so need to learn up a lil i think. Sled is a 2010 M8, thats all i got at the moment.

Are you able to identify at all which big bore kit it is? Any markings or is that what you're here to try and figure out?
I can't recall anyone advertising a 950 in those days, but I guess it's possible. I think there were a few 900s and RKT and Arctic Edge (Brent Linderman) had 925s. SSI makes a 950 for the 2012-2017 proclimb and the top end would fit, but the different exhaust and tuning would have had to be hashed out.
I was pretty heavy into cat big bored sleds from 03’ to 11’. I don’t recall any 950 big bores. Does it have factory cylinders or aftermarket? Billet head? Post some pics of the engine.
